Being vertically integrated, the R&D design team works in conjunction with the factory engineering team to optimize the HW design for the best into manufacturing process. SKED is utilizing modern manufacturing management tools, ERP and Shop Floor Control System, to ensure processes are strictly followed, as well as components & production traceability.
2 | NPI & Products pre-certifications
Thanks to our vertical integration structure, we have a unique NPI process. We invested and built cutting edge NPI Labs as the RF chamber at 60° temperature and the EMC- shielded enclosures anechoic chamber, in order to pre-certify the product, allowing cost saving and time-to-market.
Our NPI process will pre-certify and make the product ready for the following homologations and certifications: CE, FCC, CB, GS, DOLBY, HDMI, RoHS, REACH.
For final certification/homologation, we work with: Intertek, SGS, UL, TUV, EMTEK.

4 | TRACEABILITY
- Utilize SFCS (Shop Floor Control System) for Material and Production Traceability
- Material Date Codes Are Recorded for each Production Lot
- PCBA’s and STB’s Are Traced by Serial Number and Recorded for each Production Lot
- All Tests Are Recorded and Must Be Performed in Predefined Sequence
- All Tests Must Be Completed and Pass Before A STB Can Be Shipped.

Matured and sound supply chain system enables us to not only guarantee high quality and cost efficient solutions. Being Vertical integrated allows VERY FAST TIME TO MARKET as well as SHORT CYCLE TIME from PO to delivery.
